Born in Québec / Tested in Squamish
Let's face it, mountain biking is lots of fun. That being said, our beloved sport also comes with its fair share of environmental footprint.
Our fenders are born from the simple idea of offering a more sustainable product to the mountain biking community, all while making no compromise on effectiveness and quality.

SHOPMade from trash
Our mudguards are literally made from another person's waste. Every Loam Eco Shield fender is made from water bottles discarded and given a second chance. Every step of the manufacturing process is made locally, here, in Canada.
Used water bottles are collected, shredded and extruded. That same recovered material is then used for the assembly of our OG fenders.
If ever you wish to discard your own Loam Eco Shield mudguard, please make sure to manually remove the top sheet (heat helps) before putting the product in the recycling bin.
Those will have a very high recycling rate as they are made from Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (RPET) which is classified as number 1 in the Mobius triangle.
